Highlights from the Event
A bird walk at A.P.B. Post Graduate College, Augustyamuni, Rudraprayag, saw enthusiastic participation from 19 students along with research scholars and faculty members, including Head of Department for Zoology. Conducted along a forest trail near the campus, the 5–6 km walk offered participants an immersive introduction to Himalayan birdlife. Despite relatively low activity during the late morning hours, likely due to rising temperatures, the group documented a meaningful checklist that included species such as Great Barbet, Himalayan Bulbul, and the striking Red-billed Blue-Magpie.
